Along the floodplain of the Rio Grande, there are these structures, known as “Jetty jacks”. They’re essentially a series of I-beams strung together with rust, cable, and antipathy. They’re there to prevent flood debris from encroaching on nearby territories. In the eyes of a photographer like my dear associate sinnarko they become architecture and pure form; after they reach my hands they become this.

Quick update on my previous design spasm: Here’s a single image version that, while not quite as potent, is suitable for posting to tumblr, soup, or your sharing service of choice, in all its Helvetica-scented hipster glory.
Self-set design challenge. This was one of those “this should be text… no, an image! no, wait, flash! no, wait!…” etc etc ideas. So I settled on html/css/jquery/png, the solution to so many of life’s problems. The image should automatically rescale for whatever size your browser is, please tell me if this doesn’t work.

This is my Demo Reel as of Jan 09. It’s mostly either material I made for live performance, or actual recordings of those sets. Most of it is generative, with the obvious exception of the logo work. Software used includes Quartz Composer, VVVV, Processing, and After Effects. The music is the track “ants” by eDIT (whom I highly recommend checking out- all of his stuff is this great). Enjoy!
All noise is intentional. If your computer crashes, I did that on purpose, too.
